Pyrite Necklace on a Stainless Steel Chain

This is an oval pyrite that was wire wrapped in silvertone wire with attached bail. The stone is also known as "fools gold". It has a metallic luster to it. The stone is appoximately 1 by 1 1/8 inches and is set on a stainless steel box chain. The chain is 18 inches in length and has a lobster claw clasp. A box chain in know to be one of the strongest chains in the jewelry world.  Pyrite, by its nature is known to have scratches on it's surface.  If you happen to get it wet, just dry it off with a soft cloth.
